西西里岛
意大利共和国（意大利语：Repubblica Italiana, IPA: /re'pubblika ita'ljana/)；英语：the Italian Republic），它主要由靴子型的亚平宁半岛和两个位于地中海中的大岛，西西里岛和萨丁岛组成。意大利在北方阿尔卑斯山地区与法国、瑞士、奥地利以及斯洛文尼亚接壤。其境内还有两个袖珍国——圣马力诺和梵蒂冈。全国行政划分20个大区（其中5个自治区），110个省，8103个市政府。首都罗马，1870年意大利王国迁都至此，此前首都曾为都灵（1861--1865）和佛罗伦萨（1865--1870）。意大利现人口约5千8百万，人口密度约每平方公里196人。意大利因其拥有美丽的自然风光和为数众多的人类文化遗产（截至2006年1月统计，共计40处，居世界第一）而被称为美丽的国度。

Description: School of Italian set up in 1994 and recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education - is characterised by both a professional and friendly atmosphere, where learning Italian is enjoyable and fun. The subdivision of courses corresponds to the criteria of the Common European Framework for Languages. We work in collaboration with the University for foreigners of Siena and we are a centre for the DITALS exam.
